A walk from Canada Water to Greenwich, much of it along the Thames Path. This walk was taken from the book ‘London’s Hidden Walks’ by Stephen Millar. Among the interesting sites is Christopher Marlowe’s grave.

I started this walk from the Manor Hotel in Elstree. It isn’t the greatest walk, but there are good views of London from the Wood Farm London Viewpoint.

This is the Parkland Walk, the old disused railway line. I’ve probably done bits of this over 1,000 times, still a great walk and a bit of peace away from the London hustle and bustle. It is also a section of the Capital Ring.

A circular walk from Mortlake Station, through Kew and Richmond Park. It is mainly along the riverside, past Kew Palace, before heading into Richmond by Terrace Gardens, and back to the station. The walk is taken from Countryfile Magazine.

Another walk from Richard Jones’ book ‘Haunted London’, taking in the law courts at Lincoln’s Inn, Red Lion Square before tracking down the unlucky Mummy at the British Museum. I was worried about the Mummy for about a week after doing this walk.

This walk was taken from the book ‘London’s Hidden Walks’ by Stephen Millar. Some of the best London landmarks in full view in this walk which is mainly along the Thames Path. The best bit is going down by the river on a low tide, and seeing the Anthony Gormley statue.
